Put your marker on any intersection of the board to commence the game. Alternate turns with your opponent, putting one stone per turn. Enclose your opponent's stones entirely to capture them from the board. Control more area than your opponent by the end of the game to triumph. Use tactics to prevent your opponent's moves while increasing your own territory. Remember that stones are immovable once placed, unless captured. The game ends when both players pass their turns consecutively, indicating no more moves can help either side.
